Each summer a staff of 15-20 college-age missionaries serve the Lord at Heart of Texas Baptist Camp & Conference Center. These students are Godly role models while working in dining hall and concession stand, serving as a lifeguard, doing maintenance and general work for camp upkeep.
Members of our summer missions staff live on the camp grounds in staff housing and are paid a monthly salary. Part of the summer missionaries responsibilities include traveling with the staff to some area churches to promote the camp.
As a summer missionary, you would have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children and youth throughout the summer, as well as grow personally from the experience of serving others in Jesus' name.
HOTBC is blessed with a staff of senior volunteers who give of their time and share their expertise and talents throughout the year for the Lord's work. Volunteers with RVs stay at the encampment free.
Many seniors enjoy being around youth and are on hand during the summer to lend a hand. Others like to serve in quiet solitude, enjoying the camp's beauty during winter months.
If you have an area of expertise that might benefit a camp, please contact HOTBC. Because of limited housing, preferences are given to volunteers with RVs.
